We are not hiring for this role yet. We read every application, and we may contact you when the role opens.
Support buying, selling and risk as a daily discipline, inside our customers' limits. Few companies run their market exposure as a daily discipline. You support their desk: daily positions, limits and exposure, with every result explained.
What you'll do
- Support the Desk: Work inside each customer's limits and policy. The customer makes the final call
- Positions & Exposure: Track daily positions, limits and exposure across every account
- Daily Explain: Explain profit and loss line by line, every day
- Exceptions: Escalate any position that sits outside its limits, before the customer sees it
- Automate the Desk: Specify manual desk work so the product and engineering team can build it away
- Clean Book: Make sure that we never carry market risk on our own book
What you will have delivered
- Day 90Every customer exposure understood, across dairy and freight
- Month 6Daily routine running: positions, limits, explain, exceptions
- Month 12Method written down so another person can run it. Gain proved against a written baseline. Three manual processes handed over to be automated
How we will measure it
- P&L explained line by line, every dayFails when a result nobody predicted cannot be explained
- Exceptions raised by us first: allFails when a customer finds one first
- Market risk on our own book: zeroFails at any amount
Required

- Hedged a physical book against actual volumes
- Worked in a commodity trading and risk management (CTRM) system
